Last but definitely not least Zack Hamsey – check the instrumental versions of his songs (if you are not a fan of rap). Check out especially ‘Louder Than Words’ and oh idk ‘World On Fire’ (it is soo difficult to name just few) Les Friction! (former Es Posthumus check them out too)- rock + choir + orchestra that’s just an epic mixture. Back in the days (for me) they were as good as 2SFH. X-ray dogs – especially some of their older pieces.

Immediate Music - especially their album Triumph ('Destiny of the Chosen') and oh 'Hymnus Orbis' from their album Saga. I just quickly browsed through my ‘epic playlist’ and I probably missed someone, but if you are looking for similar music I would recommend (in not any particular order): This list most certainly is not exhaustive. This sentence is so French I can't even :) Ok, here you go. and could you give me similar music ? That could be really sympathic Depend on the mood I can listen kick-ass ‘Dark Ages’, cheerful ‘High C’ or ‘Illumina’ if I need to calm myself and they all are equally good. However, for me 2SFH always had these two sides. If, as you wrote, you preffer the ‘darker’ side of epic music with a strong kick then no wonder you were a bit disappointed with ‘The Unleashed’ album, because ‘Power of Darkness’ it definitely ain’t :)

I am not sure myself whether or not I like this change. Audiomachine have more 'classic' approach, i.e., choirs and orchestra only. Yeah 2SFH changed a bit recently, their music is evolving and recently they incorporated a lot of vocals into their music. There are several brilliant pieces but the rest of their songs is mediocre at best or painfully repetitive (that's just my opinion).Īs for the newest 2SFH album. The only problem I have with Audiomachine is that their songs represent very uneven level. I absolutely love 'Akkadian Empire', 'All or nothing', 'Festival of light' or 'Knights and Lords' just to name few. While 2SFH is my favorite band, that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the others.Īudiomachine is one of them. But my favorite is Lord of Lankhmar by Audiomachine. PS : I have heard all album of Two Steps From Hell, and Never give Up on your dreams from the last album is clearly Epic as I want. What do you think about this kind of music, about Audiomachine and could you give me similar music ? My favorite is Lord of Lankhmar (Start at 1.40) but Akkadian Empire, Legion of Doom, Hell's Batalion, Veni Vedi Vici, Attack on the winter Wall are really good too. I'm, personnaly, looking for this kind of music and Audiomachine have a talent with those music.

I'm a big fan of epic music and I love music with a really strong choir and percussion (Nemesis, Black Assassin, ASAP.), I think, actually, Two Steps From Hell became less " Epic " than Audiomachine. So, I'm like all of you a fan of Two Steps From Hell but, since few months I think Audiomachine will become my favorite band. Before starting, I'm from France and I apologize for my English.
